Elkhart councilman's support for urban chickens generates buzz

Brian Dickerson, city councilman, recently expressed support for lifting the ban on chickens within the city limit. However, Elkhart Mayor Dick Moore said he's not convinced it's the best thing for Elkhart.

The City of Goshen recently started an urban chicken pilot program and South Bend has allowed them for more than a year.
