Church Community Services names Newberry and DeJesus to board

ELKHART — Church Community Services has added two new people to its board of directors.

Richard Newberry and Bruno DeJesus were named to the board, a statement released Saturday said.

Newberry is the CEO and owner of Alan Enterprises LLC and past president of KMC Controls, Crown International and Starcraft Corp. He attends and is a lay leader at First Baptist Church.

DeJesus is the chief financial officer at Heritage Financial Group. He attends Granger Community Church.

Other current board members include Ed Chester, an attorney who serves as president; Terri Rickel, vice president at Lake City Bank who serves as vice president; Barb Fridley, a nurse who serves as secretary; Don Rockwell, a retired accountant who serves as treasurer along with Merritt Dilts, plant manager at Bimbo Bakeries, and Skyler Walker, who owns Time Flies Errand Services and Sky Blue Logistics.
