Here are some buildings around the area that have been eyed for demolition in the past six months.

Old Schultz Warehouse – This building is located at 1830 S. Main St. in Elkhart. The redevelopment commission has hired a grant administrator to research and apply for federal funding to help cover the cost of the building's demolition.

Old Federal Press Building – This building is located at 511 Division St. in Elkhart. There have been setbacks to original demolition plans because of miscommunications surrounding grant applications.

Two attached buildings on southwest corner - This building is located at Lusher Avenue and South Main Street in Elkhart. The city is looking to acquire the land and demolish its buildings after the property failed to be purchased at a tax sale.

Elkhart Armory - This building is located on North Main St. in Elkhart. The city began its demolition of the property in August 2013 and is seeking investors to develop its land along the Elkhart River in September.
