Local comedians bring murder mystery shows to Bristol campground

Eby’s Pines RV Park and Campground in Bristol will have a pair of murder mystery shows May 30 and May 31 at its island pavilion.

BRISTOL — For the first time, Eby’s Pines RV Park and Campground is teaming up with local comedians for a weekend of murder mystery shows.

The campground, 14583 S.R. 120 in Bristol, will have two shows. The first performance will be open to all ages at 8 p.m. May 30. The second show will include a 21-and-older wine and cheese tasting at 6:30 p.m. and performance at 7:30 p.m. May 31. Both shows will be at the campground’s island pavilion.

“Years ago, we actually had an amphitheater back where the island pavilion is, and a group used to come in and put on performances,” said Chris Lang, campground co-owner and office manager. “It was really neat, but as time went on, they stopped doing it, but I know that was a very well known event here.”

The murder mystery shows are free for anyone staying at the campground. Visitors can buy a day pass for the shows at the campground office for $5 per person or $15 per family of two adults and three kids. The campground’s phone number is 574-848-4583.

 Memorial Park offers a green space on the town's main corner and is home to the town's electronic sign board.  It features a gazebo with a glider, a water fountain, benches and decorative sidewalks.
