BRISTOL -- The Elkhart County Historical Museum will celebrate Valentine's Day this weekend during the monthly Family Fun Days event.

February's theme of "Will You Be My Valentine?" will feature an historical look at how love was expressed.

"The museum will celebrate all the ways people have shown love and affection for each other throughout history," Curator of Education Patrick McGuire said in a release.

Held the day after Valentine's Day on Saturday, Feb. 15, the event will feature several holiday-themed activities.

Participants will be able to create their own Valentine's Day card and learn about the Victorian-era method of using a fan to express love for another.

Admission to "Will You Be My Valentine?" is $1 per person or $3 per family. The event will be held from 10:30 a.m. until noon Saturday.

The Elkhart County Historical Museum is located at 304 W. Vistula St., Bristol.
