Two railroad crossings on South Main Street and Prairie Street in Elkhart will be closed starting Sunday, June 1.
The crossing over South Main Street will remain closed for two weeks and the crossing at Prairie Street will only be closed for up to two days.
A Norfolk Southern spokesman said the Prairie Street crossing could be reopened as soon as Sunday evening.
Railroad crossings at Indiana Avenue, First Street, Main Street and Fifth Street will be closed Monday, June 2, and they will reopen Tuesday, June 3.
The Beaver Lane crossing will close Monday, June 2, and remain closed for about two weeks.
Crossings at Cottage Avenue, S.R. 4 and Ninth Street will close Wednesday, June 4, and open Thursday, June 5.
The Monroe Street crossing will close Tuesday, June 3, and remain closed for about two weeks.
