BOYS BASKETBALL Second half lifts EMHS past Plymouth

Chargers improve to 4-4, 2-0 in NLC.

ELKHART — Elkhart Memorial outscored Plymouth 39-25 in the second half to knock off Plymouth 60-46 in a boys basketball game Friday, Jan. 10.

Dimitri Giger scored 14 for the Crimson Chargers, who are 2-0 in the Northern Lakes Conference. Giger also added team-highs of eight rebounds and five assists.

Tom Felke, who led the Pilgrims with 20, hit two free throws early in the fourth quarter to make cut Memorial’s lead to 43-39, but the Chargers closed the game with a 17-7 run to seal the victory.

Cameron Maxwell buried three 3-pointers — all the in the second half — and finished with 11.

Memorial heads to play Penn on Saturday.
