SOCCER Northridge players receive state honors

MIDDLEBURY — Northridge High School boys and girls soccer players came away from the recent Indiana Soccer Coaches Association awards banquet with plenty of honors.

On the girls side, Raider Kara Kershner was saluted for being first-team all-district and first-team all-state.

Mikaela Zook was named first-team all-district and third-team all-state. Brianne O’Dell was chosen top team player, first-team all-district and honorable mention all-state. Julina Skow (second-team all-district) and Ellie Lengacher (second-team all-district) was also honored.

Northridge boys to be recognized were first-team all-district and honorable mention all-state pick Steven Hooley and top team player Jake Baylis.
