Wawasee’s season ends with home loss to Leo

Warriors end at 5-5.

SYRACUSE — Running back Sam Clark lead the Wawasee in their attack against undefeated Leo (10-0), making good on a 5-yard pass from Gage Reinhard to score the Warriors only touchdown on Friday, Oct. 25 in the first round of the class 3A football sectional. Leo ran past Wawasee 35-7 to move into next week’s semifinals against East Noble.

Logan Leiter and Logan Wood combined ford all five touchdowns to lead Leo, which rushed for 368 yards.

Wawasee finished its season with a record of 5-5.
