BUNKER HILL — Cameron Kitson scored three touchdowns and rushed for 162 yards, to lead Fairfield to a wild 42-28 victory over Maconaquah in the first round of the Class 3A sectional on Friday, Oct. 25

The Falcons 9-1 will host Twin Lakes (6-4) in the sectional semifinal game on Friday, Nov. 1. Twin Lakes edged Culver Academy 14-13 to advance.

Fairfield led 28-7 after a Kitson 55-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter. But Maconaquah stormed back to tie the game, as halfback Cody Hicks scored twice — including a 96-yard run.
