Boys Basketball ECA holds on for 4th straight win

Watson paces balanced Eagle attack with 12 points.

ARGOS — Elkhart Christian outscored Argos 17-7 in the third quarter to turn a two-point halftime deficit into a 39-31 advantage, but had to hold on during the fourth period for a 45-42 boys high school basketball victory Saturday, Feb. 16.

Tanner Watson paced a balanced ECA attack with 12 points, while Ryan Kupferschmid had 11 points and seven rebounds, and Kenny Bearss 10 points, three assists and three steals.

The Eagles (13-5) notched their fourth straight win while sending the Dragons (5-14) to their fourth loss in five games.

Taylor Ogle scored 17 points for Argos. Dominic Cataldo added 11.
