Goshen holds on to defeat Warsaw

Tigers hit with first NLC loss.

GOSHEN — Goshen raced to a 26-10 halftime lead and then held on to defeat Warsaw 56-52 Friday in Northern Lakes Conference boys basketball action.

Sam Stegelmann and Jesse Good each scored 18 points for the Redskins, who hit 24 of 31 from the free throw line in the game. Brady Bechtel scored 10 points and had three assists for Goshen.

Jared Bloom scored 19 points to pace Warsaw.

Both teams are now 2-1 in the NLC.
