More than 200 runners braved the blustery chill to participate in the Green Day 5K Run and 2K Fun Walk on Friday, April 4.

The run and walk wound their way through downtown Goshen and along the Millrace, kicking off April’s First Fridays activities. Artisanal food and crafts and the farmers’ market, a book signing at New World Books, church activities and other community events rounded out this installment of First Fridays, a monthly event highlighting downtown Goshen. May’s First Fridays will include an I Heart Goshen Bicycle Criterium, parade and kids’ race.

More information can be found about upcoming First Fridays events on the city’s website.
