NEW PARIS World Missionary Press celebrating 52 years with open house, dinner

NEW PARIS — World Missionary Press is celebrating 52 years of publishing Scripture booklets, Bible study booklets, New Testaments and salvation coloring books with an open house and celebration dinner in October.

Nearly 200 million booklets in 341 languages have been distributed in 210 countries worldwide in that time and are provided free to distributors, according to a press release from World Missionary Press.

The organization is hosting an open house from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at WMP headquarters, 19168 C.R. 146, New Paris. Tours will be provided, equipment will be running and refreshments will be served.

A carry-in dinner celebrating the anniversary that evening at Maple City Chapel, 2015 Lincolnway in Goshen. Doors open at 5 p.m., special music begins at 5:30 p.m. and dinner is at 6 p.m. Reservations must be made and are available by calling 574-831-2111 ext. 227.

 The Passover seder plate features several foods that each have their own symbolization. Passover this year is celebrated from April 14 to April 22, 2014.
