Elkhart AMBS to honor seminiary graduate for missionary work

ELKHART — Kathy Bergen will be honored during the annual Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary Alumni Minisitry and Service recognition ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 10.

Bergen graduated from AMBS in 1982 with a Master of Divinity degree and has spent three decades working in ministry. She has lived and worked in Israel-Palestine, Geneva, Switzerland, and Philadelphia.

Bergen will speak during the seminary’s weekly forum, which will begin at noon in the Lambright Center in campus. A light lunch will be served beginning at 11:40 a.m.

The second graduate to be recognized is Marty Troyer, who will be a guest at the seminary on Oct. 31.

AMBS is located at 3003 Benham Ave., Elkhart.
