Wood art exhibit opens with tour Sunday at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Elkhart

The exhibit will continue during open hours at the fellowship through Nov. 10.

ELKHART — Michael Slaski will lead a discussion and tour through his exhibit, “Perception and Image,” at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Elkhart.

The exhibit features figurative and abstract sculptures and abstract paintings on wood panels. Carved wood furnishings created by Slaski several years ago and used in religious services at UUFE will be included in the exhibit.

The exhibit will be open during regular open hours at UUFE through Nov. 10.

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Elkhart is at 1732 Garden St., Elkhart.

 The Passover seder plate features several foods that each have their own symbolization. Passover this year is celebrated from April 14 to April 22, 2014.
