 Experts around Elkhart County say abuse of prescription drugs is a growing problem.

The Indiana State Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration are partnering to collect unwanted prescription drugs in Elkhart and Cass counties on April 26.

Elkhart Central Blue Blazers went 32-1 overall, 14-0 in the Northern Indiana Conference and won it all in Class 4A.

A driver in a McDonald's drive-thru was accused of drunk driving after he tried to flee but instead knocked down a police officer and hit a squad car. He was sentenced to two years probation.

 Eagle Lake sits behind a group of trees on a lakefront lot. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources has plans to build a boat launch at the east end of Eagle Lake that would close off to the public the road to the water's edge.
