Elkhart County ditching inevitably led to erosion

If ditching hadn't taken place, fill-ins along C.R. 21 also would not have happened.

Last year, when the process of ditching was announced, I knew what was going to happen. What has taken place as a result was going to be obvious. How very “politician” of Elkhart County Highway Department manager Jeff Taylor to not admit it. If ditching hadn't taken place, fill-ins along C.R. 21 also would not have happened. Erosion was inevitable and now I wonder how much additional taxpayer money was spent to stop the erosion.

Good call, county commissioners. I don't know what study you read last year, or how you were advised, but as I far as I'm concerned you missed the mark badly, once again.
