I see that the state of Indiana wants to build a roundabout at S.R. 19, S.R. 119 and C.R. 44. I’ve heard of dumb things, but this is one of the dumbest.
How is a 14-by-70-foot mobile home supposed to get around there? I think the state should rethink this idea.
There are two of these roundabouts on Hively Avenue in Elkhart. I will not use that road unless it is really necessary.
I have always been a firm believer of the old saying, “ If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it.” This also might apply to some of the ideas that come from the Elkhart mayor’s office, such as his compact fees and annexation plans.
