When Jesus taught not to judge others, he was teaching that people should not judge according to their standards. Jesus taught that he was going to judge the world and explained the standard that he was going to use. So why did Ken Clayborn ignore this ("Some cannot accept other viewpoints," April 2)? It was simply that if he could not use Jesus for his purpose then he did not want Jesus at all.
Just because people believe that never makes it true. The Nazis believed what they believed and look what they did. The Communists believed what they believed and they were responsible for the death of 100 million people in the last century. The issue is not viewpoints but provable truth.
Despite the claims, there is no evidence to support evolution. Evolutionists sell their product by using censorship, intimidation and attitude. All the evidence for evolution is interpretive. That exact same information can be used to prove anything. To claim that evolution is based on fact is void of reason.
The problem is that Jesus never presented his love as a viewpoint. He presented his love as the only truth in the universe. That is why he died on the cross, to forgive people of their sins. The love of God demonstrating the love of God. And who can provide a greater love?
If the comparison was to be made, who is the better God, Dr. Gordon Livingston or Jesus Christ? Does a comparison really need to be made?
