There are several items that have come to my attention in the last couple of weeks that prove some of the people running INDOT are brain-dead:
(1) Approving the widening of U.S. 20 from the by-pass to U.S. 15 before all the I's are dotted and the T's are crossed. One year into the project and all of a sudden it is discovered we need to buy more land.
How much more is that going cost us?
(2) Land acquisition for a roundabout at 119 and 19.
How many millions of dollars that going to cost? What a big waste of money.
If INDOT has so much money, maybe it should repair some of the roads we already have. Is that too much ask?
