No difference between killing a baby inside or outside the womb

Recently it was discovered that a woman in Utah gave birth to seven children and then killed them. What fundamentally is the difference between that and abortion? Location. A child in the womb and a child outside the womb. Logically, if a baby in the womb can legally be killed, why not after birth? What is the difference? In both cases it is a person being killed. In the Netherlands and Belgium it is legal to kill a born child and euthanize adults. The logic of abortion does go forward. Think about it.
