People's Forum: We are called to live in a theocracy

Posted on Jan. 31, 2014 at 5:27 p.m.

Our government was put in place in order that we could live in a theocracy. Democracy only works in as much as those "leaders" bow down to a holy and righteous God.

In the United States, even in the prisons and jails, inmates are given opportunities to better themselves. Ministers of the Gospel are trying to help them find God in their own personal lives.

As a nation we are blessed, or sometimes cursed, with an easy lifestyle, which lends itself to carnality and spiritual laziness. The call to repentance starts with each individual and is to be a way of life for the believer.
