Rep. Rebecca Kubacki said that "The best people to decide what is good for our children are our parents and teachers right here in our district — not bureaucrats in Indianapolis." But she voted for Common Core, a national standard which many states are now pulling out of.
On Jan. 11, she told her constituents during a public meeting about Common Core, that she will not listen to them, but will only listen to the experts in the school system and we are not to contact her. But in her mailings, she says "contact me."
District 22 deserves better. I think it’s time for a pink slip for Rebecca on May 6. It’s time to send Curt Nisly to Indianapolis — someone who will listen to the constituents.
