The decline in Little League signups goes beyond cost, readers say

    Little League signups are down significantly this year, and some readers are concerned that cost and poor sportsmanship are part of the problem.

    There are eight Little League parks in Elkhart County, but eventually there may be less, if any at all.

    Three parks in Elkhart County have a combined 35 percent less children signed up for Little League this year than in 2013.

    Why the decline? There are several reasons. We asked The Elkhart Truth's readers to weigh in and this is what they said:
