 Goshen boys soccer celebrate their 2A boys soccer state championship win during a community pep rally Sunday, Nov. 2 in Goshen High School's gym.

We started our week welcoming home the Goshen boys state champion soccer team and quickly jumped to election coverage before ending with football sectional championships and Indiana marching band performances.

Goshen celebrated their first state championship win in 26 years with the Goshen High School boys soccer team.

 YWCA Representatives, Girl Scouts and women of the Red Cross march down Main Street as some of the reported  7.000 people who participated in Elkhart's Memorial Day parade on May 30, 1918. This picture were taken for The Elkhart Truth by Elkhart commercial photographer Harry W. Hughes from the canopy of the old Bucklen Opera House. The publication of the picture in the newspaper the next day was one of the first times - if not the first- that The Truth ran local pictures of a current news event.

A quick drive around Elkhart County in search of farmers working in the fields led to a stunning display of fall color.
