Life A recommendation on acquainting yourself with God’s laws

Posted on Sept. 18, 2013 at 1:00 a.m. | Updated on Sept. 18, 2013 at 6:15 p.m.

I am 95 years old. Being permitted to live 95 years has given me time to analyze this business of life on Earth and how to make it most comfortable and enjoyable.

Those of you who care to know, read on. It is actually rather simple. Acquaint yourself with God’s laws — respect and obey them.

“Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful” (Joshua 1:8).

Jesus said the same thing in others words: “Love and respect God with every fiber of your being and your neighbor as yourself.”

These words are not given with a promise of bliss to come, but rather how to deal with the here and now. My suggestion is that you try it. If you do you will make your way prosperous and you will have good success.
