BRISTOL — A Bristol man was hospitalized Friday evening, Nov. 15, after he fell off his motorcycle and was struck by an oncoming SUV.
Jeremy Miltroka, 25, was driving his motorcycle northbound on C.R. 23 north of C.R. 104 around 4 p.m. when his vehicle went left of the center line and he fell off, according to a news release from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department.
He was struck by a vehicle driven by Deann Kaffman-Shirley, 47, of Middlebury, which had been travelling southbound on C.R. 23.
Miltroka was taken to Memorial Hospital for treatment of a broken leg. He was no longer listed as a patient Monday evening, Nov. 18.
Kauffman-Shirley was uninjured.
No citations were issued at the scene and the Elkhart County Crash Investigation Team continues to investigate the incident.
