Police investigating death of women near Pigeon River
The LaGrange County Sheriff's Department and Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a death on Pigeon River Fish and Wildlife Area.

Detectives with the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating the death of a woman near Pigeon River, near Mongo.
Misty S. McPartlen, 28, of Mongo, was found dead on Pigeon River Fish and Wildlife Area near the river in the early hours of Oct. 3, according to a press release from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Law Enforcement.
McPartlen is survived by her husband, Thomas, and her four children.
