Police identify skeletal remains found in Kosciusko County Sunday

Skeletal remains found in Warsaw Sunday evening have been identified as a missing teenage girl.

WARSAW —Police have determined the identity of the skeletal remains found in Warsaw on Sunday evening, Sept. 29.

The remains are those of Aurora Shoemaker, an 18-year-old woman from a nearby mobile home park who went missing on Aug. 16, 2012, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.

Investigation into Shoemaker’s death is ongoing and police are expecting autopsy results to be completed Friday, Oct. 4.
