Elkhart police need public’s help

The Elkhart Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying suspects in two ongoing investigations.

ELKHART — The Elkhart Police Department needs the public’s help to identify the suspects involved in two separate ongoing investigations.

The first case involves a robbery that occurred around 3:15 a.m. Aug. 17 at the Admiral gas station, 900 E. Mishawaka Road.

The suspect was recorded on surveillance cameras and is a black male with a goatee.

The second incident occurred between 10 and 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13. According to police, a credit card was stolen from a victim at Chalet Party Shoppe, 1800 Cassopolis Street, and then used by the suspect at a nearby retailer.

Security camera footage shows the suspect is a white female with light brown or blonde hair.
