The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting two high-visibility DUI enforcement zones this weekend in an effort to protect motorists from impaired drivers.
Officers will be conducting a DUI high-visibility zone from 10 p.m. on Friday, June 21 to 1 a.m. Saturday, June 22 near the south city limits of Elkhart, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Department.
They will conduct saturation patrols from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m. on Saturday, June 22 in the same area.
“It is imperative to get a designated driver if you have been drinking, and everyone has a safe weekend,” the release said.
