Elkhart teenager charged with murder arrested in Indianapolis
The teenager suspected of shooting and killing Eddie Johnson was arrested in Indianapolis.

ELKHART — The teenager accused of shooting and killing Elkhart resident Eddie Johnson two weeks ago was arrested in Indianapolis after police tracked his whereabouts.
The Elkhart Police Department located and arrested Leeshawn Rodgers, 19, of Elkhart, Monday, May 13 with the help of the Indianapolis Metro Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit. The two agencies had been coordinating the last week after Elkhart police received information that Rodgers had fled to Indianapolis.
Rodgers was arrested at about 10:30 a.m. Monday. He will be extradited to the Elkhart County Jail.
