Elkhart man dead in work accident

An Elkhart man died after being electrocuted in a Noble County workplace accident.

LIGONIER — An Elkhart man was electrocuted Monday night, March 18, in an industrial accident in Ligonier.

The Advance Leader reports that Mark A. Werbianskyj, 55, died from accidental electrocution at Parker Hannifan, 1201 Gerber St.

The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m., a Noble County dispatcher said.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Elkhart.
