Investigators still seeking informtaion from a 2009 homicide

Investigators are still looking for a suspect in the 2009 shooting of Drake Muncie.

ELKHART — Investigators are still looking for information about a suspect or suspects involved in the murder of 26-year-old Drake Muncie.

Elkhart police officers responded to a call in reference to a shooting at 820 C.R. 6 just after 1 a.m. on Aug. 2, 2009. Muncie was found shot and was later pronounced dead at a hospital due to a gunshot wound.

Witnesses reported that Muncie had been in an altercation with an unknown male before the shooting, according to a press release from Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers has made this their Crime of the Week. They are offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who gives information that leads to an arrest.
