Three arrested during meth investigation in Elkhart Thursday

Three people were arrested when police executed a search warrant in Elkhart Thursday afternoon.

ELKHART — Three people were arrested when the Elkhart Police Department found methamphetamine while executing a search warrant Thursday afternoon.

Earl Giles, 51, Michael Laroux, 38, and Lisa Paglia, 37, all of Elkhart, were each arrested on preliminary felony charges of possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance, according to a press release from EPD.

After a short-term drug investigation, the department’s drug unit got a search warrant for 1900 York St. Officers with the drug unit, Community Affairs Bureau, uniform and detective divisions executed the search warrant shortly before 4 p.m.

They found meth and paraphernalia, police said.
