INDIANAPOLIS — Elevate Ventures has hired the following as entrepreneurs-in-residence in north-central and northwest Indiana, where they will work with clients in advising emerging and existing high-potential businesses, strengthening operations if needed and facilitating paths to achieve potential.
Kregg Kiel has more than 13 years of experience in start-up research, single-family office, angel investments and portfolio management.
Kelly Schwedland is a senior executive, certified consultant and serial entrepreneur focused on assisting other entrepreneurs and early-stage companies to develop and execute business strategies and obtain required resources. Schwedland’s background spans several industries, including manufacturing, information technology, financial and business services.
ELKHART Elkhart Brass expands its international sales team with the addition of Ted McCann. McCann will be responsible for developing strategic and tactical sales plans to expand Elkhart’s presence in the Asian market. McCann joins the Elkhart team with more than 20 years of experience in global development for Fortune 500 companies.

ELKHART/SOUTH BEND — Five professionals at Kruggel, Lawton and Co. have been awarded the Chartered Global Management Accountant designation: Rita Hochstedler, Leslie Hoeppner, Rita Miller, Kevin Zink and Margene Zink.
WAKARUSA — Bobbie Korff Martin has joined the staff at Schwartz Electric Inc. as bookkeeper and office manager, bringing with her 17 years of experience.
