Mall scavenger hunt to raise money for Elkhart family, United Cancer Services

The Strong and United Cancer Scavenger Hunt will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 10 at Concord Mall, 3701 S. Main St. in Elkhart. All proceeds will be donated to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County and the family of Sarah Crane, a 15-year-old Elkhart girl with colon cancer.
The scavenger hunt is in memory of Talia Castellano, a 13-year-old girl from Florida who died this summer from neuroblastoma. Talia gained notoriety online after posting makeup tutorial videos for girls on YouTube. After Talia’s death, her sister asked fans to complete activities on the young girl’s bucket list, which included having a scavenger hunt at a mall.
United Cancer is asking participants to raise money or get sponsored to participate in the scavenger hunt. For sponsorship details and registration, visit elkhartcancer.org.
