MISHAWAKA — Margie Emmons, 90, died at 7:15 p.m. Sept. 1, 2013, at Golden Living Center-Fountain View Place, Mishawaka, surrounded by her children.
She was born on Dec. 31, 1922, in Hamilton, Ohio, to the late Mark Fear and Betty Penny.
Survivors include Judie Barber-Keller of Mishawaka, John Paul Jr. (Terry) Keller of Goshen, Dona Keller of Mishawaka, Penny K. Keller of South Bend, Michael Keller of South Bend and Becky L. Stoner-Emmons of Celleste, Texas; son-in-law Marshall R. “Butch” White of South Bend; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and twin brothers James (Eloise) Cala and Bruce Cala.
Her sister Rosemary Palm; special friend Edmund Berger; and husbands John Paul Keller Sr. and George Emmons all preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
