The Indiana State Police Bremen post will conduct a sobriety checkpoint this weekend at an undisclosed location in St. Joseph County.
According to a state police news release, the checkpoint will begin on the evening of Saturday, Aug. 24, and continue into the early morning hours of Sunday, Aug. 25.
Motorists are asked to have their driverís license and vehicle registration available when entering the checkpoint in order to minimize traffic delays, which are estimated at two to three minutes, according to the release.
State troopers will be conducting saturation patrols after the sobriety checkpoint looking for impaired drivers.
