Downtown museum pays tribute to Elkhart Jazz Festival

The downtown Elkhart museum will debut “A Collage of Jazz: Original Art and Memorabilia from 25 Years of the Elkhart Jazz Festival” on Saturday, June 15. The exhibit features works of art from the museum’s permanent collection and a selection of loans from artists who have been associated with the jazz festival. The exhibit will be on display through Sunday, June 23.
Artists who contributed to the exhibit include Victoria Magee, Duncan Schiedt, Meredith d’Ambrosio, Maxine Schacker and Jay Mason.
The museum, located at 429 S. Main St., is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is free for jazz festival ticket holders and museum members, $4 for adults, $3 for students and seniors and $7 for families of three or more.
