Justin Zachary, 33, pleaded guilty to one count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, endangering a person, a Class A misdemeanor. He agreed to a sentence of six months in prison.
According to court files, Zachary was arrested on the intersection of Greene and Bashor Roads in Goshen. The police who stopped Zachary said that Zachary had failed to stop at a stop sign and failed to indicate a turn. When an officer took Zachary to the jail, Zachary yelled threats at him.
Zachary was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and endangering a person, operating a vehicle with breath alcohol content of .08 or more, and intimidation.
Zachary was still on probation for his past conviction when he committed the offenses he was charged with this year, violating his probation. Zachary plans to admit to the violation of probation during his sentencing hearing, on June 6. Admitting to the violation of probation could add up to another year to his sentence at the Indiana Department of Correction.
