GOSHEN — Ronnie G. Stubblefield, 62, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at IU Health Goshen Hospital after a short illness.
He was born Jan. 2, 1951, in Wilson, Ark., to Paul Stubblefield and Myrtle (Whitaker) Sartain of Osceola, Ark.
He married Barbara Krallman on April 12, 1974.
She survives along with a son, Chris Stubblefield, and a daughter, Carol Krallman, both of Goshen; three grandchildren, Halie and Keegan Miller and Gaven Stubblefield; his stepmother, Dorothy Stubblefield of Hazel Green, Ala.; two sisters, Linda (Kerry) Edwards of Victoria, Ark., and Shana Upton of Hazel Green; two stepsisters, Vicki Naylor of Elkhart and Jenny (Steve) Rice of Warsaw; and a stepbrother, Gene Steele of Ligonier.
He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Paul “Tooter” Stubblefield; and stepfather Mark Sartain.
He was an artist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid gun and knife collector.
Friends may call Monday, April 1, from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. celebration of life service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
