The annual Mennonite Historical Society spring banquet and fundraiser will take place at Berkey Avenue Mennonite Fellowship, 2509 Berkey Ave., on Thursday, April 11.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with an Indian meal, followed at 7 p.m. by a presentation by Paul Wiebe, scholar and missionary to India, on “Bearing Witness: Challenges and Prospects in the Mennonite Church of South India.” Wiebe is the author of a recent book, “Heirs and Joint Heirs: Mission to Church Among the Mennonite Brethren of Andhra Pradesh.”

Suggested donation for this MHS fundraiser is $25 a plate, but attendees may contribute what they are able.
