INDIANAPOLIS — Bethany Christian’s Caleb Morris, Goshen’s Sam Stegelmann, Northridge twins Haley and Madison Schrock, and the Penn trio of Austin Torres, Olivia Carlton and Taylor Lutz are among just 57 senior boys and girls players who have been named Academic All-State by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association for 2013.

Academic and athletic performance are both factored into the selections, which included 30 boys and 27 girls.

Another 243 individuals were accorded honorable mention status, including Jesse Good and Austin Henke of Goshen, Markese McGuire of Elkhart Memorial, Maddie Schwartz of NorthWood, Caleb Stayton of Elkhart Christian and Mike Szrom of Penn.
