Bristol Town Council

When: Tuesday, March 19

Key action: Heard a request from Rob Dunlop with Wagner Land Development asking for the town to develop a well field on two to three acres of land in the Blaxley Farm development east of Commerce Drive. The developer is willing to donate the land for the well field. Dunlop said potential clients interested in sites in the development would want the well field. The land would need to be annexed into the town and the best site for the well field would need to be determined, as well as the cost for the well field.

Other actions:

• Heard the town is waiting to receive confirmation of the agreement with the Indiana Department of Transportation concerning funding for the new road to be put in between S.R. 15 and Maple Street before they proceed with an interlocal agreement with the county to secure the rest of the funding. The town is also waiting on property appraisals. The road is needed to handle traffic from Earthway Industrial Park with the move of Utilimaster to Bristol.

• Heard that town workers think they have discovered and corrected the problem of low water volume to Kem Krest and a flow study may not be necessary.
