Two-day CERT Animal Response training offered in Cass County

CASSOPOLIS, Mich. — Registration is now open for Community Emergency Response Team Animal Response training in Cass County.

Training will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, and Wednesday, March 28, at Cass County Animal Control, 323 M62 North, Cassopolis.

Animal Response I will teach CERT members emergency preparedness skills for animal owners. Animal Response II will prepare CERT members for situations that may involve animals.

The class is open to everyone, but priority seating is given to individuals who have completed the basic CERT training course, with stand-by seating given to anyone else.

Pre-registration is required. For questions or for registration information, call Patti Kolden of the Cass County Sheriff’s Office at 296-445-8644 ext. 1217.
