Food Bank looking for volunteers for data collection
Volunteers must be at least 18-years-old, be able to attend a mandatory training session in the spring, and have reliable transportation. Ideal candidates will be available for at least one or two days a week between April and August to collect data. The ability to speak Spanish is not required for volunteering, but could be valuable.
Volunteers will travel to agency sites throughout the Food Bank’s six-county area to collect client survey data, set up online surveys at Food Bank member agency sites, follow specific plans, interact with clients and address questions with the hunger study and the client survey.
The Food Bank of Northern Indiana serves Elkhart, Kosciusko, LaPorte, Marshall, Starke and St. Joseph counties.
For more information about volunteering, contact Jamie Owen, agency relations manager, at 232-9986 ext. 127.
