Elkhart County students invited to Exploring 4-H Welcome Event

GOSHEN — First and second grade Elkhart County students and their parents are invited to attend the Exploring 4-H Welcome Event.

The event is from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at the ECCC Building at the 4-H Fairgrounds.

Current and potential Exploring 4-H students will learn about the 4-H program, receive their project manuals and meet 4-H leaders. Exploring 4-H students may choose from 14 projects, featuring topics such as dinosaurs, pets, arts and crafts and garden.

Exploring 4-H is a non-competitive introduction to the 4-H program. Participants who complete a project and exhibit it at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair will receive a blue ribbon, certificate and 4-H pin.

There is no fee to join Exploring 4-H if enrollment is completed by May 15.

To enroll, visit the Elkhart County 4-H Fair website and click on the “Enroll in 4-H” box.
