ELKHART — Riverview Adult Day Center has added a secure Alzheimer’s wing and new veterans program through a grant from the Elkhart County Community Foundation. The center also received a contract with the Veterans Administration who has a program to cover the cost of adult day service visits. Riverview Adult Day Center provides professionally supervised day services for adults who cannot be left alone, are in need of structured socialization, need health monitoring or whose caregivers need respite. The non-denominational, not-for-profit organization maintains affordable fees through grant seeking, fundraising and volunteerism.
